Ghana international, Christian Atsu, has joined Turkish Süper Lig side Hatayspor on a free transfer for the 2022/23 season.
The 30-year-old joins Hatayspor on a one-year deal with an option for another year.
Mayor of the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality and Hatayspor Honorary President attended the signing that was revealed yesterday on the team's social media accounts.
"We welcome Christian Atsu and wish him endless success with our burgundy and white jersey," the club said in a statement.
Atsu expressed his excitement about the new opportunity in a Facebook post.
He posted: "Thank you for making me feel so welcomed! Thank you President Doç.Dr.Lütfü Savaş, Mr Mehmet Guzel and everyone at @hatayspor excited for this new opportunity!."
After playing for Al-Raed in the Saudi Professional League last season, Atsu now joins the Turkish team.
