Black Stars midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso, has joined Belgian Jupiler Pro League side, KAS Eupen, for the 2022/23 season.
Wakaso signs for the club on a short-term deal from Chinese Super League side, Shenzhen Football Club.
The midfielder has spent a chunk of the past month away from football as he continued to work his way towards regaining full fitness after recovering from a knee injury.
With a move to Eupen, the experienced player will hope to secure enough playing time as he chases a quest to make Otto Addo's Black Stars squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar.
Wakaso's latest transfer sees him make a return to European football after spells in Spain’s La Liga with Villareal, Las Palmas and Espanyol. The 32-year-old also played for side, Rubin Kazan.
