The Accra Metropolitan Assembly's Environmental Health Inspectors on Wednesday arrested two pepper mill operators in the Agbogbloshie market in Accra.
The Environmental Health Inspectors, under the Joy Clean Ghana Campaign, went to the market to educate traders on how to maintain environmental cleanliness in the market.
Upon arrival in the market, they started inspecting food items displayed by the traders.
In the process, they spotted a pepper mill operator who they had declared wanted. The wanted operator had breached a bench warrant issued to him some few months ago.
He was quickly hauled into a waiting vehicle and sent to the AMA Head office to be arraigned the following day .
Another operator who was operating under poor hygienic conditions was also arrested.
