The National Service Scheme (NSS) has informed user agencies that the 2021/2022 service year is scheduled to officially end on Friday, September 30, 2022.
The Director of Corporate Affairs, Amstrong Esaah, in a statement on Tuesday indicated that service personnel are to be at post for the month of August and have their terminal leave in September.
He also announced that all user agencies should assess the performance of their personnel to facilitate the processing of their NSS certificate.
“The annual evaluation form, which is the means to assess service personnel's performance for the year, has duly been uploaded on the dashboards of all service personnel serving in both private and public organisations,” part of the statement read.
Mr Esaah directed the personnel to download, fill and get their supervisors to endorse them.
“You have from today, August 2, 2022, up to August 31, 2022 to submit the completed form to the NSS district offices across the country.”
He further stated that the directive should be treated with urgency since the form is the major requirement to process their NSS certificates.
The Director subsequently expressed appreciation to "all service personnel for their selfless and unrelenting contributions to serving our cherished nation, Ghana."
