Sendbox, a Nigerian startup digitising deliveries for e-commerce and social commerce sellers in Africa, having closed a $1.8 million seed round on October 18th, 2021 is expanding into more African markets, scaling its product offerings and hiring more talents.
The firm was built to solve the problem of logistics for small and medium businesses by providing them with affordable and reliable courier services to fulfill local and international shipping from pickup to doorstep delivery.
Starting with logistics and fulfillment, Sendbox is building the operating system for e-commerce in Africa.
Launched in 2018, the company provides affordable access to local and international delivery options for small-scale merchants selling on e-commerce and social media platforms. Accessible to iOS and Android users, via the web application, on Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, and other e-commerce platforms.
