Acadia Industries Limited, manufacturers of Tampico Fruit Juice in Ghana, and its sister company, Interbrands Ghana Limited, over the weekend partnered with Chopbox Online to serve breakfast to 3,000 students in three second cycle institutions in Accra as part of its 'Happy Hour' campaign.
Legon Presec, Labone and Odorgonno Senior High Schools were the schools selected to enjoy the first phase of the activity.
Students were treated to sumptuous meals prepared by premium international brands like Weetabix, Almond Breeze, and Tampico.
The activity forms part of their efforts to remind the students about the availability of the products and affirm the quality and taste whiles enjoying nutritionally packed foods and the responsibility to give back to the society.
"Currently, the student population is rapidly growing, and over the years, the student community has been keen consumers of our products. We take this Happy Hour seriously, and we are committed to not making this a one-time show, but also doing more of these in the future" said Bernard Offei, the Marketing Manager for Tampico and Interbrands.
Chopbox Online offers parents and guardians the opportunity to order for food and stationaries online to be delivered to their wards in the schools, whilst cutting off the stress of commuting to the schools personally to deliver provisions.
Chopbox Online also used the opportunity to inform the students on the use of internet on more beneficial things than the negatives of social media.
