Dancehall musician, Epixode, says his work routine makes him a difficult artiste to work with.
In an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, the one-time 'Dancehall Artiste of the Year' at the VGMAs revealed that he likes to handle 80% of the creative aspect of his works.
According to him, he likes to work with people who understand his point of view and how his work should come out.
Epixode, who is well-known for his creative videos and stage performances, said that a lot goes into the final products that are seen on TV screens and various stages.
“I make sure I take about 80 percent the creative aspect of the work. I can’t say I do everything. If it has to do anything with my creative piece then I take up 80% of it. I have certain directions and I work with people who understand what I want to do and the kind of product I want to put out.”
He described himself as “mad” and a “difficult” artiste.
Epixode, however, gave credit to his team who work tirelessly to bring out his vision.
“I want to big up my team for understanding some of my stupid ideas.”
Epixode is currently promoting his new single ‘Atia’.
The song is a live reggae tune spiced with a heavy base line with heart touching lyrics explaining how he [Epixode] likes his women.
“Atia” is a Twi word which translates as “slim” and mostly used for cute ladies in the Ghanaian community.
