The young lady who claimed to be a former housemaid for media personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, has apologised for spreading falsehoods.
According to her, she was pained to see her “role model” face criticism during her beef with actress Afia Schwarzenegger and wanted to come to her defence.
“Sorry Dela, I never knew it would trend like this and I was in pain when I heard something bad about my role model.. please, I’m sorry,” she captioned her TikTok post.
This comes after the young girl alleged in a video that Delay had a daughter.
She claimed that she had seen the TV presenter secretly breastfeed her baby during her visits.
However, days after she went viral, Delay refuted the claims made by the young lady, adding that she does not know her at all.
She later petitioned the Criminal Investigative Department (CID) of the Ghana Police, through her lawyers, to investigate the lady.
They stated that Delay is worried about the misrepresentations being made by the lady and other people, especially since there have been reports of some people using such claims to induce favours and other personal gains from unsuspecting people.
“Our client, therefore, implores your office to investigate the issue and where any criminal culpability is established, to trigger appropriate proceedings to abate this behaviour. We have attached a copy of the video and other publications for your perusal,” parts of the petition read.
