The Volta Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Organiser has asserted that the Akufo-Addo-led-government has ample time to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians.
Emmanuel Korsi Bodja affirmed that currently there is hardship in the country due to internal and external factors, however, the government has what is needed to eradicate the hardship and better the lots of the citizenry.
“Generally there is a hardship characterized with external and internal forces,” he said during an interview on the sideline of a victory party for the newly elected regional executives in Keta.
He believes the government can use the next two and half years to implement measures and interventions to “change the lifestyle of the people” and “enlighten the hope that they gave us in 2016” to help the NPP break the 8-years jinx in 2024.
“Sure, for the 8 we are breaking it”, he stressed.
Mr. Bodja said he would leverage the internet space to mobilize and garner support for the NPP in delivering the mandate reimpose on him by the delegates.
“Covid has brought a new life into us, traditional way of face to face meeting interaction is fading out. Today the increase in technology usage in the country has also ballooned, which means that at all points in time you are meeting hundreds of thousands online.
How do we mobilize them? That is the focus and the direction at which I am looking at in my next four-year term” he said.
He would also explore other tools to mobilise support which would translate into votes for the NPP heading into the 2024 general elections.
Emmanuel Korsi Bodja polled 207 votes to be retained as the Volta Regional NPP Organizer, beating competition from Christo Wisdom Klutse and Prince Shelter Adjorlolo.
