Actress Efia Odo may be regretting wearing her see-through outfit to Kwesi Arthur’s ‘Son of Jacob’ album launch on Thursday, April 21.
Her reasons, however, are not as a result of the criticism she was subjected to both on social media and on radio talk shows.
Efia Odo in a tweet stated that she would not have worn the risque outfit that has gotten people talking nearly a week after the event if she had known that it would be the focus of discussion, instead of the album.
She stated that if she knew how much attention this outfit would garner, she would have worn ‘kaba and slit’ to the event.
“If I knew this would happen like I would’ve worn kaba and slit, I f**ked up.” she wrote.
This was after Kwaw Kese berated the media for taking the attention away from the album to the actress’ outfit.
In Kwaw Kese's post, he shared a picture of Apple Music’s Top Album Chart Ghana on which ‘Son of Jacob’ at the time was number two.
“Instead of the media pushing this agenda, they’re busy talking about Efia Odo’s nipple,” he wrote in reference to the picture.
Meanwhile, despite her regrets, Efia could not hold back her appreciation and admiration for Kwesi Arthur due to how he answered questions about her outfit during interviews.
In one interview, Kwesi Arthur said he was not embarrassed in any way, by what Efia Odo showed up in, at the “Son of Jacob” album listening, adding that he was grateful she honoured his invitation.
He also spoke of his admiration for her for being a confident woman who is not ashamed of being herself.
The socialite and actress in a tweet said she was not only impressed with the rapper’s comment, but his level of intelligence as well.
