Civil construction works on the maternity and children’s block at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) are 75 per cent complete.
Contractors, however, say the total work done on the project is 15 per cent, as they race to complete it within schedule.
The project was reactivated in 2020 after a JoyNews documentary that highlighted the plight of mothers and babies at the hospital due to lack of space.
Nana Yaw Gyimah visited the project with the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, and filed this report.
