Actress Vicky Zugah and her family held the final funeral rites for her late mother, Beatrice Adzo Patu, on Saturday.
The event saw the family hold a memorial service for Vicky’s late mother before she was later taken to the cemetery.
The family then held a funeral service at the Madina Social Welfare in Accra in honour of the deceased.
Present at the ceremony were some colleagues and friends of the actress and TV personality.
Some of them included Prince David Osei, Martha Ankomah, Kalsoume Sinare, Gloria Sarfo, who also buried her mother a week or so prior, Roselyn Ngissah, Irene Opare and others.
Vicky Zugah announced the passing o her mother in January 2022.
She revealed that her mum has been ill for about five years in an Instagram post, however, did not disclose the illness.
“For five years you fought. For five years I waited for a miracle. For five years you held on. Today you gave up on me and my siblings,” Vicky wrote. The post came with a picture of her mum.
Vicky said that she waited for her mum to make a full recovery but unfortunately she could not.
She noted that losing her mum has left a vacuum, “a space no one can fill.”
