The 2015 National Science and Maths Quiz champion, Daniel Danso Aboagye, has been adjudged the overall best graduating student for the School of Medicine and Dentistry, KNUST.
The recently-graduated medical student was awarded for his stellar academic prowess in both his pre-clinical and clinical years.
Dr. Aboagye received the award at the maiden edition of the College of Health Sciences excellence award at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He is known for ending the 19-year drought of NSMQ championship for Prempeh College, after clinching the third national title for the school.
Dr. Aboagye is believed to have rekindled the flare of his alma mater’s recent exceptional performance at the national competition.
He was amongst the first batch of medical students who graduated with a certificate in Medical Journalism, a course run by the Multimedia Group, in partnership with the KNUST.
Dr. Aboagye is presently a House Officer at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
