On Wednesday, March 23, some photos and videos of a traditional wedding held in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region flooded the internet.
The wedding is that of Ghanaian businessman Kojo Jones, the son of late politician David Lamptey, who was Korle Klottey MP and his girlfriend Raychel.
The event saw the colourful display of culture and wealth. The groom was adorned with customised kente cloth with his name weaved into it.
The bride also had her kente dress custom-designed.
Some groomsmen were seen in the same styled Kaftan while others were in different shades of Kente.
Also present at the event were NDC members; Elvis Afriyie Ankrah and Sylvester Mensah, Majid Michel and others.
The couple changed outfits three times on the day of the wedding. They first wore their Kente for the ceremonies and later changed twice for the reception that followed.
