Former Nigeria international, Daniel Amokachi has taken a slight dig at Ghana ahead of the crunch 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff which takes place next week.
The Black Stars will host the Super Eagles at home before jetting off to Nigeria for the reverse fixture on March 29, at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.
With little over a week to go before the first leg, Ghana is yet to get full assurances over the stadium to host the game, with the National Sports Authority racing against time to get the Cape Coast Stadium in good condition for the game.
In a social media update on Tuesday, March 15, the former Super Eagles forward questioned the Ghana Football Association's readiness for the game in a troll.
"We are at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium. We are ready. Look at how beautiful the pitch is, look at how beautiful the stadium is," he said.
"We are ready but some people are still looking for a venue. Some people are under confusion, you know who I'm talking about," he laughed.
Following an inspection by an official from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) at both the Baba Yara Stadium and the Cape Coast Stadium, there is optimism the game will likely take place in Ghana.
