Legendary hiplife artiste Reggie Rockstone, also known as "Hiplife Grandpapa", says the late DJ Rab introduced him to social media.
He revealed this in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, after he was asked about his relationship with Rab Bakari.
In responding to the question, the "Keep Your Eyes On The Road" rapper said, the late DJ was the one who introduced him to social media. According to him, Rab Bakari told him he is a such a nice guy who would do very well on social media.
He further described the late DJ as a humble person who moved differently. Aside from that, he is a type of man who would go behind the scenes to check and correct stuff.
"…Rab was really humble. He was really low- key and moved different. People who knew him know this. He is the man who goes behind the scenes to check and correct stuff. It was Rab who placed me on Social Media. He told me Reggie you're such a nice human being and you need to be out there," he said.
The popular music producer and DJ who was very instrumental in the creation of Hiplife music reportedly passed on Sunday, 6th March, at the Busua Beach in the Western Region, after he had gone to swim and got drowned in the process.
The news of his passing went viral after Reggie Rockstone posted a picture of him with a prayer and heart emoji on his Instagram page. He was survived by his wife and two children.
