Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, TeePhlow, says the pressure from Hammer made it difficult to work with him during their time together under the Last 2 record label.
He made this revelation in an interview with Andy Dosty, on the Library Show, after he was asked about his worst experience working with the legendary producer.
According to "The Warning" hit-maker, the producer's quest to bring the best out of an artiste makes it difficult to work with him, because he could work on a project and feel it has been done well and Hammer would call him the next day telling him to come around to make changes.
He went further to appreciate Hammer for what he took him through since it has made him a better person.
“I can say my worst experience on working with Hammer would probably be excessive pressure on the work I wouldn't even want to call it pressure per say but Hammer would always push you to bring the best out of you and that can be stressful sometimes," he said.
"You can do something that you feel is dope and he would call you to tell you to come around again to make changes but at the end of the day that is what made me the person I am now because I scrutinize myself a lot and I try to get the best out of everything so I appreciate that a lot," he added.
The Library is a show designed to tell stories of music producers and their journey through the music scene hosted by Andy Dosty. The show airs every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Hitz FM.
