Hearts of Oak midfielder, Sulley Ali Muntari, remains uncertain amidst calls to return to the Black Stars.
Muntari's performances have got many clamouring for his inclusion in the impending World Cup playoffs against Nigeria for the first time in eight years.
The ex-UEFA Champions league winner has established himself as a key player for the Phobians since he joined the club in February despite his age, 37.
He exhibited a dominant showing against Kotoko to help the Phobians clinch the 2022 President Cup.
The former Inter Milan player has scored one goal and assisted against WAFA and Legon Cities, respectively, in his last two league matches.
He registered his first goal in the Ghana Premier League against WAFA after four games following last Friday’s victory over Asante Kotoko to lift the President’s Cup trophy.
But when asked about a possible return to the senior national team, Muntari said, "I don't know; time will tell. We will see."
"I am pleased, but the most important thing is Hearts of Oak now. I came in, I got the chance to play for Hearts of Oak, which is a big team here. The guys are amazing, the coach and the staff also. I am very pleased to be here, and also the fans are making things right, and yeah, I am home. It is a joy to be here."
Muntari has netted twenty times for Ghana since his debut in 2002.
He was suspended from the team in 2014 after portraying an act of indiscipline in camp at the World Cup in Brazil.
