The Paramount Chief of Osu, Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV, has pledged to partner businesses to create jobs in the community.
According to him, partnerships are the way forward and an avenue for improvement as well as job creation.
Speaking to Joy Business after an official visit by Acentia Energy, Nii Nortey Owuo IV, called on both the local and international businesses to invest in Osu to move forward the agenda of a better future for the next generation.
"We want an Osu that is for all but not just benefit few people. It's important together with those working on our land to build a new Osu. Partnership are very important to build the new Osu".
He further intimated that his focus is to provide jobs and quality education to the people to help in developing the area.
"We need jobs, we need to create employment. We are not going to wait for the government to create jobs for us. We want to partner with all sort of business to create jobs and partnership with them where we can benefit from each other”, he added
The drive for developmental projects in the community is the main agenda of the Chief.
He therefore entreated the youth in the community to join the force in changing the fortunes of Osu and push for developmental projects.
The Owuo We Royal House and the Osu Kinkawe Dzase enstooled the 30-year-old lawyer, known in private life, as Nii Nortey Botchway as the Osu Mantse, with the stool name Nii Nortey Owuo IV after the demise of the previous Osu mantse, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona IV.
