Ex-girlfriend and ‘baby-mama’ of dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, says taking responsibility for a child should come naturally and must not be forced on the father.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the musician, turned actress, made comments that came across as a wake-up call for Shatta Wale to take responsibility for their son, Majesty.
“We don't force people to do things. Responsibility over your kids shouldn't be forced upon you the father. It's a feeling that should be there. If it is not there, it shouldn't be forced. You should feel obliged to do it.” she said.
Meanwhile, Michy claims the relationship between herself and Shatta Wale has gone sour. The two were the sweethearts of the industry when they were together and even churned out good music together. On October 13, 2018, Shatta Wale even joined Michy on stage midway through her performance at the 'Reign concert' and asked her to marry him. However things finally hit rock bottom in 2020.
Michy likened her current relationship with the 'My Level’ hit maker, to that of strangers, "we are like strangers. We have no business, so I actually like it this way."
Michy has been featured in actress Yvonne Nelson’s new movie, ‘The Men We Love’ set to premiere on Valentine’s Day.
The movie also stars Majid Michelle, James Gardiner, Kofi Adjorlolo, veteran Eunice Banini, Tiktoker Jacqueline Mensah, Angela Bamford and many others.
