Four people are reported dead in a road accident at Nsawam Mobil in the Eastern Region on Monday afternoon.
Speaking to JoyNews, Nsawam District Police Commander, Superintendent Marian Osei Adu Owusu said nine others have been severely injured.
The deceased's remains have been deposited at the Nsawam Government Morgue and the injured are receiving treatment at the Nsawam Government Hospital.
The accident involved three taxis and an articulated truck.

In a Facebook post, the Police Service noted that the articulated truck veered off the road at Aburi Junction, Nsawam and crashed into three taxis.
The Nsawam Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) and personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service have been at the scene to manage the situation.
Meanwhile, the vehicles have been removed allowing the Police to open the road to normal traffic flow.
In a tweet, Nsawam Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured and the peaceful repose of the deceased.
