Ghana Olympian, Joseph Amoah has broken the 200 indoor national record.
The Ghanaian sprinter run a sizzling 20.57 seconds at the 2022 Boston University Invite to beat the previous record.
Amoah secured the record on February 5, 2022, with his time being ranked number 1 in Africa and 5th in the World.

He now holds the record for the national indoor 200m, national 200m outdoor, and the national 4x100m.
Following a good showing in 2021, the record is a good way to get his 2022 underway. This year presents a bigger opportunity for the 25-year-old with the World Championships to come in Eugene, USA in July and the Commonwealth Games to follow shortly after.
