Ghana Commodity Exchange (GCX) has provided support to Joy Business to aid its maiden outreach programme dubbed 'New Year Outreach, which is targeted at empowering communities and putting smiles on the populace.
The annual end-of-year event is to give back to the less privilege in the society.
As part of its support, the Ghana Commodity Exchange donated bags of rice which were given to the vulnerable mothers.
Staff of Joy Business celebrated this year's event with residents and head porters at the Agbobloshie market in Accra. Other items such as drinks, bread, chicken, toffees were distributed to the Head Porters and residents of the community.
The outreach was also partnered by Thakkar Overseas, Charlieboy, Enterprise, Valley View University Bakery, and Sikkens Ghana Limited.
The GCX is a marketplace or a platform for buying and selling listed commodities. It is setup to provide a regulated market that links buyers and sellers of commodities to trade by rules.

The Joy Business Outreach is a programme primarily crafted to put smiles on the faces of the less privilege in society.
This year's event was to have breakfast with the Head Porters and residents of Agbogbloshie in Accra.
Joy Business will extend the outreach to other parts of the country.
