The maiden edition of Weekend Warmer’s 'Back to Back Music Festival' saw great success last Friday at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The Joy Entertainment powered event saw listeners, admirers, and guests at the plush hotel jam to the ‘Highlife Party’ with DJ Black, Sammy Forson and Iggy on the turn-tables, broadcasting live on Joy 99.7 FM.
The night saw more than twice the number of regular attendees of the weekly Weekend Warmer show.
A treat to classic highlife mixes perfected the enjoyment of a priceless time with family and friends, as audiences danced their hearts out while having fun with some of Joy FM’s personalities.
Joy Entertainment’s Kofi Hayford stepped in as MC and moved many off their seats to join him in a long queue of dancers, exhibiting their vintage dancing skills.
The Weekend Warmer train makes a stop for the second episode of the Back to Back Music Festival, dubbed 'Old Skuul Bash'.
Happening at the Labadi Beach Hotel on December 10, 2021, the event which will also broadcast live on Joy 99.7 FM will assemble an even greater crowd - lovers of good music, and treat them to the nostalgic 70s and 80s groove.
The free entry event will have veteran DJ B’lei, alongside Africa’s finest DJ Black, Andy Dosty, Sammy Forson and others on rotation.
It doesn’t get any better than a night of quality entertainment on the Weekend Warmer’s Back to Back Music Festival, the OLD SKUUL BASH episode, powered by Joy Entertainment.
