As part of efforts to develop the entrepreneurial skills of the youth, First Code Management Services has developed an initiative dubbed ‘First Up 2021 Creatives Accelerator Programme’.
The programme is to equip creative entrepreneurs with basic managerial practices and business support to start a business.
Ghanaians between the ages of 18 to 35 years who are into film making, theatre production or photography can partake in this programme.
Speaking to Joy Business at the Launch, Managing Partner of First Code Company, King Kojo Sarfo explained the rationale behind the initiative, indicating that his outfit will support young talented Ghanaians to thrive in their businesses.
"Not much is seen for players in the creative art sector. We are thinking as much as this people are talented. They lack some basic business ideas and managerial skills, so we believe we can support them in that regard”, he said.
Some participants who have enrolled in the programme expressed confidence that the programme will help the growth of their businesses.
The programme is a 13 week creative industries accelerator programme, designed to develop entrepreneurial skills in Ghana.
It will provide training, business networking, mentoring and funding opportunities to early stage entrepreneurs in the creative sector.
