The Ejisu municipality in the Ashanti region risks losing its wetlands to building construction projects.
According to the National Disaster Management Organisation, the Ejisu stretch of the Kumasi-Accra road could be exposed to flooding if the destruction of wetlands is not halted.
Luv News checks reveal a private developer undertakes the activity of filling the wetland with laterite in the night.
