Rapper O4zee has won the 'Hip-hop Artiste of the Year' award at the Jomoro Creative Arts Awards 2021.
The event took place on Saturday, October 30, at Elubo in the Western Region of Ghana.
The "Lafialo" hitmaker beat four other hip-hop artistes who hail from the same region by a considerable margin to win the prestigious local award.
He competed with King Logik, Snyper, Scofield-Ando, and Peniel Velly. However, rapper O4zee topped the category with 266 votes on the night to snatch home the Hip-hop Artiste of the Year.
Notable among his songs are 'Boss Up' and 'Mo Be Zi', all of which can be found on the streaming platform, Audiomack.
Roland Savior Kwoffie, as known in real life, is a product of the University of Ghana, Legon, and did his national service at Multimedia Group Limited, where he currently works.
Speaking about the award, he said, "it's a step to greatness".
