Hearts of Oak have reportedly contacted David Duncan to take over the club next season.
Details remain sketchy but sources say the management of the club has made numerous overtures to lure the AshantiGold coach.
Duncan is still contracted to Ashantigold till the end of the current season.
He will replace Nii Noi Thompson who was engaged till the end of the current campaign after the dismissal of Serbian trainer Kosta Papic.
The tough-talking coach has worked wonders at AshGold and moved the club from the relegation pit.
He had a short stint with South African side Free State Stars a year ago.
Hearts of Oak have seen their 14-point haul at the top whittle down to four after strings of poor results.
