The Ghana College of Beauty Arts and Entrepreneurship, a subsidiary of Makeup Ghana in collaboration with the Snotec Diagnostic Centre has organised a health walk at Labadi to create awareness on Breast Cancer.
The 2-hour fitness walk which started at T-Junction through some principal streets including Palm Wine Junction ended at Makeup Ghana’s office behind the Ghana Trade Fair site.
After the walk, the participants were taken through an intensive aerobic session by a professional Gym Instructor, Uncle Sam.
Pageants from Miss Health who were there to support the program shared fliers containing breast cancer information with some community members.
Snotec Diagnostic Centre led by its team of medical professionals conducted a breast cancer screening in which about 50 women were screened.
In an interview, the CEO of Makeup Ghana Rebecca Donkor praised the participants for showing up for the programme.
She said her company is a professional body and dedicated to the career development of women.
