Data from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) indicates that the country's active Covid-19 cases is on the decline.
As of September 27, Ghana's active cases stood at 3,088. But in the Service's latest update, a total number of 3,052 active cases have been recorded.
Out of the total active cases recorded, 122 are said to be severe whereas some 44 others are considered critical.
Again, the country had lost one more life to the deadly coronavirus disease.
This brings the death toll to 1,157. For new cases, the Service recorded a total of 228 cases.
Meanwhile, the total confirmed Covid-19 cases since Ghana reported its first case in March 2020 stand at 127,878.
So far, the Ghana Health Service has discharged 123,669 individuals who tested positive for the virus and have recovered, from the various health facilities.
