The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has cautioned schools against opening their doors to some people claiming to conduct research work in private schools.
According to the council, it has not given approval to any group of people to approach its member schools for any research.
“The Council is by this letter informing all member schools to forbid such people from entering their premises, as the Council has not authorized anyone to undertake or conduct any research work,” a press release signed by the National Executive Director, Enoch Kwasi Gyatuah noted.
GNACOPS stated that they received an alert that disclosed that these persons who have disguised themselves are claiming their work is to help improve private education.
However, the Council advised all member schools to be vigilant; adding that most people indulge in many activities to commit crime and tarnish good reputations.
"GNACOPS encourages its members to continue to be guardians to the gate into Private Schools in Ghana, and also assure all with maximum security and support."
