Manager of Crystal Palace, Patrick Vieira has credited Jordan Ayew's goal drought to a low level of confidence.
Jordan has experienced a dry spell infront of goal, with the striker's open miss in Crystal Palace's game versus Brighton doing compounding his issues.
Despite acknowledging the contribution of a lack of self-belief to the Ghanaian's poor output, Vieira believes the responsibility to break the duck lies on his [Vieira's] shoulders.
"Jordan was like every other player, everybody was really disappointed not to take the three points
"Obviously Jordan missing the chance was important but when he doesn't score, especially a forward, here is a lack of confidence and self-belief.
"It is my responsibility to bring him back to what he can do and scoring goals," the Crystal Palace boss said in a post-match presser.
Ayew has made six appearances for the London based club this season.
