Police at Agona Swedru are investigating circumstances leading to the death of a 45-year-old man.
Francis Efrim was allegedly hit with a piece of wood by his wife, Joyce Okyere.
Consequently, he was rushed to the Agona Swedru Government Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by a medical doctor.
Police after receiving the report, proceeded to the Hospital and found Francis lying on a stretcher.
Careful observation by the Police showed a deep cut on the forehead of the deceased.
The body has since been deposited at the hospital's mortuary for preservation and autopsy while the suspect, Joyce Okyere, is in custody assisting Police in investigations.
