A five-year-old boy has lost his life following a heavy downpour in Tuna in the Sawla District of the Savannah Region.
The three who are in critical condition are currently receiving treatment at the Sawla District Hospital.
Three other persons are said to be in critical condition as the rainfall pull down their homes at about 4 am on Thursday.
The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) coordinator of the Sawla District, Muhammed Kuamuah, said he had a call from Tuna that the heavy downpour had collapsed three homes and claimed one life.
The recent downpour has rendered many homeless in other regions as the flood took over their homes and destroyed properties.
