The National Coalition of unsatisfied licensure examination candidates is petitioning management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) to allow them verify the results of the May 2021 examinations.
Members of the coalition who massed up at the NTC Secretariat, expressed their dissatisfaction with the results of the examination.
Jerry Evans Sedor who spoke on behalf of the coalition said; "When you're writing exams and you pass you will know. Even your heart will speak to you, that indeed I'm passing this paper. That is why most shocks and doubts come.
"So if a result is given that I'm not okay with, knowing well my input then it's like being cheated," he said.
Sharing in the grievances of the coalition, the National Coordinator for the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG), Joshua Owusu Yeboah, claimed that this year, the NTC did not provide any statistics on the licensure results to TTAG, as is the normal procedure.
“Anytime they come out with the release concerning the results they give us statistics. But in this case they just came out with the release, telling us to go and log into the portal without giving us any statistics, so we're here to find out," he said.
