Ghana sprinter Joseph Amoah has admitted hardwork helped Ghana’s relay team in reaching the final of the 4x100 event at the Tokyo Olympics.
Amoah run the final leg of the men’s 4x100 semi-final which saw Ghana qualify to the finals.
The quartet of Sean Safo-Antwi, Benjamin Azamati, Emmanuel Yeboah and Joseph Paul Amoah, finished fifth in the semi-finals.
The team run a time of 38.08s breaking 24-year-old national record in the process.
Amoah in a tweet after the race revealed how hard the team worked for this moment.

Ghana will be in lane 2 in the final for the men’s 4x100 which comes off on August 6.
