The Ministry of Information held a press briefing today to inform citizens on strategies employed by government to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The presser was moderated by Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah and Director-General of the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye.
Today's presser comes at a time when the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has admonished government to expand free and enhanced Covid-19 testing in the country to mitigate the rapid spread of the Covid-19 delta variant.
This follows the rise in Covid-19 cases.
As of July 30, the Ghana Health Service reported 6,276 active cases with 844 deaths.
