The National Democratic Congress' decision to expel its former Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho has left many on social media completely at sea on what exactly is going on in the opposition party.

Mr. Anyidoho joins former Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, who was also expelled this year.

Mr Anyidoho was found guilty of misconduct and anti-party behavior by the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) after recommendations from the National Disciplinary Committee. He is to return any party property that may be in his custody and also forfeit any money, dues or subscription fees that he has paid to the party.

For some party faithfuls on social media, this comes as good news following the former General Secretary's recent extreme criticism against the party.

But others also hold the view that this is Mr Anyidoho's opportunity to join the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) since all indications prove all is not well within the NDC.

Few minutes after his expulsion, Mr Anyidoho who took to social media in what seems like a response to the NDC's decision, stated that he is a son of God and therefore any evil man's plans against him will turn around for his good.

"When Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery; they did not know they were selling him into his God-given destiny to become a Prime Minister in Egypt. What evil men mean for wickedness; God turns it around for good. I am a Son of God," he said.
