Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has displayed to his fans and Ghanaians that he has a heart of gold. Shatta also demonstrated that indeed, he has amassed wealth in the entertainment industry.
The Shatta Movement (SM) President, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, splashed approximately $500 on Nana Ama Mcbrown, renowned actress and TV presenter, during a live telecast of UTV's United Showbiz on Saturday, June 12.
The gesture was prompted by a request from the Ghanaian actress and TV presenter. She asked Shatta Wale if he brought her a gift from his trip to the United States of America.
According to Shatta Wale, he had left the intended gift at home but had on him some amount of money to give the actress.
"Today, didn't you bring any gift?" she asked. "It is home," Shatta Wale replied.
"Everybody told me I am receiving a gift from you today because I am hosting you. You know you have to do it here like you did the other time," she said. "I have something little on me now," Shata Wale said.
"I agree with the adage, 'a loved one gives what he or she has in his or her possession," she told Shatta Wale. "Wow, I like this. When you speak this way, I'm motivated to show off. Bring me some 500 dollars," he requested from his aides.
"Spread it on me. Wow, this is live," Nana Ama expressed joy.

In October last year, during the show, the Infinix Mobile Ambassador presented a brand new Infinix Hot 9 phone as a gift to the actress.
Nana Ama Mcbrown revealed that the she still has the gifted phone as dancehall artiste stayed true to his words of not taking it back.
"Shatta Wale has not asked for the phone he gave me, I still have the phone," she said.
