The Ministry of Roads and Highways has responded to claims that no road was commenced and completed within the first term of Akufo Addo’s presidency.
In a press statement issued Wednesday, June 2 and signed by the Chief Director, Dr D. D. Darku, the Ministry provided details of roads that were initiated and completed between 2017 and 2020.
The roads include: Otanor-School Junction Road, Kwabenya-Taifa road, Obuasi Junction- Dunkwa, Kadie-Aduman, Asutiano-Dormaa, Akotanim Tinkon-Amanfrom, Borae Junction- Kpandai-lot 2, Gambaga/Nalerigu town roads (PHI), Kwabeng-Akropong, Princess Junction-Princess town, Kperisi-GUONO PH1, Kw'aso area roads, Kansawrodo by-pass Ph3, Bekwai-Asanso road and Bekwai Town roads.
The rest are; Cape- Coast Inner City roads, Ashanti and Western feeder roads, Jasikan-Dodo Pepeso road, Sunyani and Brekum Inner City Roads.
