The Information Ministry held a press briefing to update Ghanaians on the efforts government has put in place in ridding the country of illegal miners.
According to Attorney General Godfred Yeboah Dame, some 45 galamsey operators have been arrested and are standing prosecution.
Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah today highlighted the development of these 45 persons including 10 Chinese who are in police custody.
