Little Kwaku Tawiah was found dead with his head and belly riddled with nails, a day after he went missing at Asonomaso in the Kwabre East municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Three months on, mother of the one-and-half-year-old boy is crying for justice on the cruel murder.

Little Tawiah is the third child to be murdered in the past three months in the Ashanti region.

The pain of the loss remains fresh on the mind of his mother, 35-year-old Sarah Appiah.

She told JoyNews that his little son enjoyed playing with his twin siblings in front of their home here at Asonomaso.

It’s been three months since he was abducted and murdered.

"We went to radio stations and information centres to report about our missing child but to no avail. We found out that our son has been killed and dumped into an uncompleted toilet facility," she recounted amidst tears.

The deceased father, Yaw Gabriel who is still heartbroken by the incident revisited the place where his son's body was found.

"I have been thinking about it and i just can't make sense out of it," he said.

It has been three months and it's still a mystery as to who killed the toddler and what their motive was.
