The Royals took the lead early in the game after Jonah Attuquaye latched onto defence splitting pass by Mathew Cudjoe to lob the Aduana keeper.
Legon Cities continued to control the game and doubled their lead in the second half through a penalty from Joseph Adjei.

Karela’s poor form continues as they’ve now picked just two wins since the beginning of the second round.
Dreams FC on the other hand kept their good form after narrowly beating Bechem United 2-1.

In a relegation six-pointer, Ebusua Dwarfs came out on top beating Liberty Professionals 2-1.
The result sends Dwarfs 12th as Liberty stay in the relegation zone.
King Faisal beat Elmina Sharks on their travels thanks to a goal by Kwadwo Frimpong.
The victory sends the Insha Allah boys out of the relegation zone.
