The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo has rescinded the sack letter she issued to the National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Programme.
According to her, the letter of termination sent to Getrude Quashigah on May 18, 2021 was an administrative error.
Thus, Mrs Quashigah is expected to resume her role as the programme's boss.
The earlier letter of termination had given no reasons whatsoever for Ms. Quashigah’s false sack.
Ms. Gertrude Quashigah, was officially named the programme's National Coordinator in March 2020.
She was already serving as an acting coordinator for about a year before she was given the role officially.
