The nationwide rollout of the second phase of Covid-19 vaccination started today Wednesday, May 19, with an overwhelming turnout at various health centres in Accra.
Some of the centres visited included Mamobi General Hospital, Legon Hospital and Mallam Atta Polyclinic. There were long queues in all the places visited.
Medical Director in-charge of Mamobi General Hospital, Dr. Sophia Quist told myjoyonline.com that the process has been smooth so far.
She said the hospital had sent messages to those who received their jabs there as directed by the Ghana Health Service.
