Singer Gyakie’s hit song, 'Forever', which propelled her to international fame has officially spent seven weeks on the Billboard Top Triller Global chart.
The song is at number three on the chart in the week of April 17. The Afro-Fusion artiste is the first Ghanaian to have a song stay this long on the Billboard chart.
‘Forever’ followers Cardi B’s Up which is at number one and Lecrae and Andy Mineo’s Coming in Hot.
Prior to being at number 3, Gyakie’s song was at number 11. The song shot up the chart, something people have attributed to her remix which features Omah Lay.
The ‘Forever Remix’ is at number 10 on the Official Afrobeats Charts. Its’s last position was number 12.
'Forever' is off Gyakie's five-track EP, titled “Seed” released in August 2020.
