Actress Akuapem Poloo born Rosemond Brown was on Friday morning handed a 90 days jail sentence by the Accra Circuit Court over naked pictures with her son.
Moments after the news broke out, scores of social media users have expressed their sentiments over the court's punishment for her.
Some are worried about who will be the legal guardian to her son when she's away, whilst others too are pleased with the punishment.
Below are some social media comments.

If Akuapem Poloo gets 90 days in jail for posting a nude with her son how many days will people who snatch ballot papers in the Parliament House getting considering nobody is above the law. Use the Pythagorean theorem to answer your question. 🏃🏃🏃🏃

We really need sentencing reforms in this country.

Who did Akuapem Poloo really offend? I’m starting to believe this issue is beyond what we know! This doesn’t make sense! 90 days?!!
— Mr. Whyte (@RevErskineGH) April 16, 2021
Why has the photographer being excluded from this whole Akuapem Poloo issue. This is not fair. He/she was around when Rosemond Brown and her son took those ‘nude' photos.... In fact he/she took those photos. That person should be equally jailed🙄🙄. Equality before the law pls😔

Really feel for Akuapem Poloo but this will also serve as a deterrent to alot of people. I just wish they'd keep same energy in prosecuting more serious offenses.

One day in prison sef nbs the kind of living in there can cause damages to your mental health and the law has Jailed Akuapem Poloo 90days for posting her own nudes mean while NAM 1 is walking freely...this country err smh

The problem about a prison is the stigma that comes with it in our society. I pray no one uses this against Akuapem Poloo, we must embrace and support her in her career and businesses. Any slay queen that attacks her with this, we all will fight for one ring inside pic.twitter.com/grZFKVzXN6

AKUAPEM POLOO: You can't take care of children who are standing under trees at 37 and are naked yet the state can take care of Akuapem Poloo's son. We have lost our priorities as a state - Benjamin Essuman [Member, NDC Comm. Team] #MorningStarr

Homeless Kwadwo Piano is walking freely and Akuapem Poloo is going to serve in jail.. Do u still think money is everything?🤣

First of all ignorance of the law is no excuse even though I agree that a jail sentence wouldn’t be the best for akuapem poloo. Secondly the ‘celebrities should know they don’t have so much power and influence like they think they have. The judge isn’t reading reading your tweets

How was the child harmed in the picture ? And how is taking Akuapem Poloo from her son going to help the child ? They weren’t doing anything sexual in the said picture , y’all just cannot see nudity without sexualizing it . If this is the law working then we’re doomed
— Paa Kofi (@paakofi_) April 16, 2021
They prosecuted Akuapem Poloo not because of her nudes but because of her son.
My sole opinion
We all saw our parent's nakedness even up to age 10 and some beyond
The only difference is that , it wasn't put public.
The law is ambiguous 😥— Promzy Kingston (@PromzyKingston) April 16, 2021
