Automotive technology company Autochek has entered into a strategic partnership with the Automobile Dealers Union of Ghana (ADUG) to deliver a digitised and enabling platform for vehicle dealers in Ghana.

The company through its technology solution would be working with ADUG to create a more sustainable and structured marketplace for car sales, affordable car loans to drive increased sales and auto maintenance in the country.

The Autochek Car Loan marketplace was recently launched and has seen significant traction with application and approvals.

The collaboration offers members of ADUG the opportunity to drive more sales as customers take advantage of the affordable car loans via the Autochek online marketplace and this increases the visibility of their inventory to potential car buyers across Ghana.

Car buyers do not only have access to select from a large pool of cars, they will also get access to multiple car loan offers from finance partners on the Autochek platform, thus further driving ease of purchase and auto financing penetration in Ghana. This increase in automotive commerce has cascading benefits along the value chain with one of the major benefits being increased job opportunities, following more dealer empowerment and liquidity in the ecosystem.

The President of ADUG, Eric Boateng indicated that "the partnership will give our members the opportunity to expand their business by leveraging digital solutions provided by Autocheck and the creation of more jobs as a whole."

Head of Operations at Autochek Africa, Solomon Adenuga said the partnership seeks to reduce the fragmentation by bringing stakeholders together to drive automotive commerce.

"Our mantra is Partner Prosperity and partnering with ADUG allows us to drive this mantra at scale across all registered dealers in Ghana." he added.

According to the Head Resource and Business Compliance at Autochek, Yvonne Ahlie, the partnership also seeks to foster business development and sales especially within the network, adding “the opportunities are endless - from customer service management to lead management, auto financing, marketing and brand building”.

Autochek is a transformational high-growth company that is providing an auto need platform and is accelerating the ability of Africans to get better quality vehicles by providing affordable access to car loans, while also de-risking the auto lending processes for financial institutions.
