Ambrose Amevuvor 21, from Gornikope in the Akatsi South Municipality of the Volta Region has lost his life on the spot in a motor accident on the Akatsi -Wute road on Saturday dawn.
Another deceased, Forgive Hoggar 17, from Wute died later upon arrival at the Akatsi Municipal Hospital.
Eric Nogokpo, 21, who survived the accident is said to be in critical condition at the same health facility.
Mr Sulemana Seidu, former Assembly member for Wute and Constituency Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Akatsi South, who witnessed the accident, said it was a sad tragedy.
He said the accident occurred around the Wute cattle market stretch of the Akatsi -Ziope road on Saturday at about 0200 hours.
Mr Seidu, giving an account of what happened said the suspected driver was driving a Toyota Avensis car loaded with bags of onion with registration number GN 7653-11 believed to be heading towards Ho from Keta.
He explained that Ambrose, and the two others were using an unregistered motorbike and were returning from a funeral at Mafi Gidikpui, when they crashed into the Toyota Avensis vehicle leaving the rider (Ambrose), dead on the spot.
Chief Superintendent Joseph Atsu Dzineku, the Akatsi South Municipal Commander of Police confirmed the incident.
He said his outfit would soon come out with details regarding the incident.
The bodies of the deceased have been conveyed to the St. Paul's Hospital morgue.
