Majority Leader and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu on Friday presented government's 2021 Budget Statement and Economic Policy.
This comes after a letter from President Akufo-Addo to the Speaker on Thursday saying the Suame MP will present the statement to Parliament.
The letter also announced Mr Kyei Osei Mensah Bonsu's new role as caretaker minister for the Ministry of Finance.
Sources say, this year's budget is expected to lay out the full details of the economic recovery programme put in place by the Akufo-Addo government, that is the ¢100 billion GhanaCARES (Obaatan Pa) programme.
